Simply awarding more ice-time does not necessarily correlate with increased rates of production. With enhanced minutes, Byron MIGHT not have that same level of energy in all of his shifts for instance, and he will also be facing tougher competition when he is on the ice. How he performs will be interesting to monitor. On the other hand, he will also probably be playing with better players in those increased minutes, so perhaps it balances out. Perhaps not.
I am looking forward to seeing how he does though!
