Bennett is the kind of player you build a franchise around. Add him to Monahan & Gaudreau and there's a potentially elite core of offensive talent. Surround the core with hard-nosed top-6 forwards like Poirier, Klimchuk and Hunter Smith. Fill the remaining lines with shut-down 2-way talent (Bouma, Backlund, Colborne, Arnold & Reinhart) and beef. Factor in wild cards like Baertschi & Jankowski who could make a top 6 impact and I think you have to wonder if the Flames young forwards corps will be one of the strongest in a couple of years time.
