I don't remember how they did it, but it had the correct rosters of all NFL teams circa 1992 (or whenever it was out), you could play entire seasons, and it managed to have memory where you could save your season, and have all stats like league leaders in all important categories as well as team ranks for offense and defense. Each team had different playbooks (ie. i remember the redskins would have tons of pre-snap motion). It truly revolutionized sports games in my opinion.
