I myself am an avid Wideman supporter. That being said:
It's pretty consistently thrown out there on the Fan960 and rumblings elsewhere that Treliving and company are highly motivated to get Widemans contract off of the books. I've heard myself on FA frenzy day. I wouldn't much believe it either if I didn't.
So the truth is, they want to move Wideman before training camp. The radio guys said they'd be shocked if he was still here by then.
