At the risk of some fool accusing me of bragging about my travel exploits, we learned that in Kenya they send young boys out with a sharpened stick to slay a lion as a rite of passage to manhood. I don't know how successful they are. I asked our guide if he thought a lion or a grizzly bear was more dangerous, and he said the lion. I told him that no one here would dare go bear hunting with a sharp stick.
I think that sport hunting is disgraceful. If you use the game for food, that's great. Many of those are threatened species and I think she should be ashamed. They're beautiful animals.
I do agree they'd be very hard to bring down with an arrow, so maybe she does shoot from the safety of a vehicle. It'd still be very difficult.
