I would rank the raymond replacement as a drop but not that big of one. Him going on the hot streak after the deadline really seem to erase the half season prior where he was pretty invisible and disinterested. I know Raymond has the same tendencies to go on streaks and disappear but to me its not a huge as it may seem.

Hiller over Macdonald is a HUGE upgrade. One is a career ahler that can do spot duty as a backup in the NHL the other is coming off a inconsistent year where he had 29 wins and .911 save percentage. I think Ramo and Hiller can make for a really good tandem and at worst with give us a commodity at the deadline.

Butler IMO is a better skater and probably a better overall player but his inability to pass out of our zone and the fact he never used his size frustrated me to no end. I like the fact Derek E. brings that enforcer touch to our D corps and by all accounts is a great character player. Im not sure what his shot is like but as long as its not the muffin Butler had ill call this a wash.

Bollig imo is a pretty big improvement on westgarth, i like the fact he had more that just an enforcer role with the hawks. He was trusted enough to play decent enough minutes on there team and i really think he with be a great addition.
