Firstly you're reading your own list wrong.
Palestine according to their list is a "medium" country and falls above, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Iraq, Yemen, and the Sudan.
The list is also flawed. It only includes citizens. So the mass of slave labour who live in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, etc... are not included. Maybe my statement of being one of the highest was off the mark. However, it's certainly comparable to all the Arab countries in the region, particularly Jordan, which is the probably the best comparable, as it actually used to be part of the British Mandate of Palestine.
Either way, I'm not saying the Palestinians haven't been through a lot, but the hyperbole surrounding the discussion of their treatment by Israel is out of control
