To me, that seems like a big stumbling block - as big as a No 1 C - as they don't come onto the market often, and when they do.... its big big cash. I don't see Gio going to UFA. LA is miles ahead of the Avs because they have Doughty, Chicago has Keith, Boston has Chara... to me, top pairing d-man aren't that easy to trade. I don't see the Avs making it to the conference finals during Iginla's 3 years there.
