Colorado could become a better team but they would have to get past any of Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Anahiem and San Jose to reach the finals. In the East it's a heck of alot easier for Boston with all the best teams being in the West.

You keep speaking as though he turned Boston down. Was there any indication they even offered? They are in a real bind with their cap and may have to sell off assets they don't want to move just to cover his bonuses from last season. You seem to be letting your feelings for Boston colour your thinking here.
