I was trying to think of who the signing reminded me of........... It reminds me a lot of the Jim Vandermeer signing a few years back. Rough and tumble bottom paring D-man who also spent some time at forward.
FWIW Vandermeer had signed a 3 year term at the time for 2.3 AAV in 2008-09
