One thing I can report with certainty: the Avs plan to make a strong bid for Jarome Iginla. We’ll see if they can land the 500-plus veteran goal-scorer, but the Avs are definitely in on Iginla.

He scored 31 goals last year. The man can still definitely play, and he’s great buddies with Joe Sakic. He would make a nice addition to the lineup. But a lot of teams will be interested in him, and the Boston Bruins still hope to keep him (though that seems far-fetched by now).
