Similar to Gillies, but catches with his right hand – makes for a nice contrast to have one of the rare southpaws between the pipes. His stats weren't impressive this season, but he's young and seems to have really impressed the scouts.
If we were going to pick a goalie in the 2nd round I was hoping it would be this guy. Demko did not impress me at all for Boston College, despite the good stats. Seems like a choker to me; perfect for the Canuckleheads.
