How is trading away a roster player, for a second round pick no less, evidence of a re-tool? I would absolutely love to hear the logic behind that statement, because it makes no sense to me. All of the trades made yesterday seem to be indicative of a rebuild with a few rough years ahead. He tried putting together a package for the first overall pick, didn't work... but that is still a futures move, not one meant to make the team competitive next year.
