Pasadena will be 27 C today (average 89F in July). Mexico City is high altitude and will be 20 C (average 75 F in July). Not as hot as other cities in the Americas would be.

I was in Dallas for the Holland-Brazil 1994 quarterfinal and it kicked off at 2:30pm and it was HOT. It was so hot they barely did anything in the first half and saved it all for a fabulous 2nd half. So it was really a 45 minute game.

I think the absolutely hottest place during that world cup was Orlando. Hot and humid it really was unplayable.
