People hate on cyclists here but it's not the cyclists faults (granted this crowbomb thing is completely moronic and it's just asking for a horrible accident). In Germany there are completely separate lanes that aren't connected to the road for cyclists, the roads are also planned and organized exponentially more logically there and you can get around large cities with much more ease with more traffic.
