The deal was a tough one for the Isles to make, but we felt we needed to acquire some depth. Time will tell if the loss of a big time player like Hejduk will hurt the club, or if two good players in Reinprecht and Holik can spread out the attack a little more.

Hainsey is also a good young defenceman with Top 2 potential signed for cheap, which is never a bad thing to get in any sort of deal. We basically broke down the deal the same way Droopy did, and thought a defenceman like Hainsey is tough to get out of the 2nd round in any draft... not to mention the 2 or 3 years required post-draft before they become someone meaningful.
