Depends where you're coming from. From the east (including Denver and Salt Lake) almost guaranteed to be on the new runway (assuming nothing breaks on Saturday, etc.) Because of restricted airspace in southern Nevada, the following end up routing to the east and will almost always be new runway arrivals: Palm Springs, Vegas, Phoenix. Looks like LAX will usually be a west side arrival (comes in over Fairmont Hot Springs, roughly), but I see the odd flight plan in recent weeks where it cuts east and ends up following Vegas flights all the way up to come in over Vulcan, roughly. San Diego seems to be mostly east side with the odd west side as well. Fort McMurray and McKay will be new runway too.
Coming from Edmonton, Vancouver area, Kelowna, etc.... almost guaranteed to not land on it. That's the plan and they're sticking to it, for now. Thanks for mentioning it though cause I hadn't actually thought about exactly what will be going where until just now. Another thing that could happen is, with these routes where they could kinda go either way, the airlines might start filing certain flights over Vulcan and others over the Hot Springs to try to balance it out. We'll have to see how it all goes.
Edit: Anotonov sked arrival 6:19 tomorrow morning here in YEG, apparently. Getting up early, I guess.
