If I have a son he will not be circumcised. There just doesn't seem to be any compelling reason for it to be done. The only reason I've ever really heard that makes some sort of sense is that if it needs to be done later in life the pain will be a lot more memorable. However, the statisitics I've seen is that only somewhere between 1 in 200 and 1 in 600 will "need" it later in life. The odds are not great a person will need to have it done later in life and go through that pain. It's a guarantee that a circumsized baby goes through a good amount of pain and discomfirt during the procedure and in recovery.
Also, from what I've read the "need" it in later life pile is chalk full of examples of kids who actually didn't need it done but instead had a practitioner that used the overkill method of treatment. Or of parents who tried to retract a kids foreskin and ended up tearing it...(sometimes repeatedly). Remember a kids foreskin will not fully retract in some case until 4-5 years of age and one should never ever try to retract it or it will tear.
