He earned about $47.5M on his 3 contracts prior to the NYR one. To get to your $121.5M figure he'd have to have earned $74M from his last contract, which is impossible given that it was a $60M contract that has been bought out. The actual amount he'll get out of the deal is about $54M. Given that your figure is about $20M too high, I assume you're counting the $20M he got in signing bonuses in the first 3 years of his contract twice.

ahhh, I didn't see that they included the signing bonus in the salary column. What a stupid way to display those numbers
So yeah, that number is way off.
