They jumped from 29th place, to a Division championship in the incredibly tough Central division. Also they didn't completely rely on their goalie. Varlamov definitely helped, but they played fine with Giguere in net. Without Bishop, Tampa was a dumpster fire.
Gotta be Roy over Cooper, and it's not even close.

far superior to Tampa's to a division championship, yes. But this was a franchise that made no effort to compete last year. And unlike Cooper, Roy didn't have to deal with losing one of the game's greatest players to injury for much of the season, nor did he have to overcome St. Louis' bitch act.
Cooper did more with less.
