It's not a mix of reserved/non-reserved. The entire theater is reserved seating. You cannot show up and just pick a seat. When you buy a ticket to an IMAX or AVX screening you have to pick your seats. Frankly, every theater/showing should have reserved seating and it shouldn't cost extra.
