However, do they label the seats as spoken for so people who didn't reserve a seat don't have to move? I'd be pretty pissed if I were one of those, and as the theatre fills up you get bumped to crappy seats.

It's not a mix of reserved/non-reserved. The entire theater is reserved seating. You cannot show up and just pick a seat. When you buy a ticket to an IMAX or AVX screening you have to pick your seats. Frankly, every theater/showing should have reserved seating and it shouldn't cost extra.
