I find the Race Lector 7000 to be stiff and twitchy, probably because the tires are at a high pressure (max 145 psi) but it's feather light, strong, solid, and fast. It's built for speed and climbing was a bit of a struggle. I wish it had a few extra gears for really tough slopes.

The one at MEC that caught my eye was the SE 1800. A light mountain bike/cross country bike is what I'm starting to look for. I don't have a tonne of coin to spend on it so I'm trying to find something that's pretty good bang for my buck
