It's unlikely, yes but at the same time hardly unthinkable that it does happen. Wideman's numbers are absolutely abysmal and that goes hand in hand with his play for the most part. It wouldn't be so bad if Feaster hadn't put the cherry on the sundae with another NMC either.
The big question is do Treliving/Burke see an unmoveable 5.25M cap hit as a positive for three more years? You have to look beyond next season as this is probably the last chance they'll get to easily cut ties. Wideman is hardly going to be part of the solution as the team starts to trend upwards in a year or so.
