As for the GOP candidates, right now it's Christie and Cruz as the only two current possibilities I see. Neither one of them gets the nomination IMO, but I don't know who else is going to emerge. I wouldn't vote for either of them against Hillary. There would be zero consternation about it.

Yeah these political debates can definitely get heated, especially with the state of things as they are.
So the real problem isn't the presidency at all, it's these congressional primaries that need to see GOP (and Tea-Party) members get punted. But it's really difficult for me to see that going down in many areas. This, funnily enough because there is so much frustration that "the people" can't do anything, means it's really in the people's hands but the presidential race is not what they should be focusing on.
