Everything I see from the States tells me everyone is moving further apart and are actually moving backwards as evidenced by Tea-Party members actually gaining office. Someone such as yourself just won't rally around the same person as someone living in Manhatten or in California.

The "tea party" is a joke.
It's hard to get people in Alabama to agree with someone on a lot of things when they're from Long Island.
