Considering it's a GM vehicle, and all their recent issues, you may want to check the ignition cylinder as well. I doubt the cylinder there is of much higher quality than the door locks.

My wife has a habit of doing this. For some reason though, she always "upgrades" whichever car she is trying to get into, and tries to get into a slightly nicer one.
