If, and we don't know, the other guy who crossed the street to get involved, pushed/punched/grabbed Ferland then he is in his right to pop the guy. And the guy setting himself up to sue Ferland didn't do anything until another buddy looked him up online and said that was the guy, pretty fishy to me.

I'm no lawyer or anything, but is there not a cap for money/damages in Alberta on civil suits for things of this nature? Or is that purely for car accidents? Or am I just way off base?
