Truly an amazing series and I'm both sad and filled with joy after seeing the whole thing. Neils final words were poignant and worthy of being a successor to Carl. The end with the empty chair was a nice touch. But my favourite part, by far, was Carl Sagan reciting the pale blue dot ...speach? Dont know what to even consider it. Everytime I read it I feel so ... inflated with hope and wonder for both how small we are yet how lucky we are to be a part of something so immense and so beautiful. Hearing Carl say it is even more profound. I miss Carl like a uncle or second father, and haven't even met him. What a beautiful man he was, intelligent, articulate, and such hope he had for us as a species. The cosmos sequel was every bit the show I was hoping for and even more. Time to show it to our children and kids in schools, and in couple decades revisit the series again and see what new wonders we can touch on. and maybe find out who the new "ambassador of science" is at that point; cuz right now it's Neil. And he's a great person for that role.
