I know of several individuals who used a home as an office. There's even certain properties with a large main floor area which is a great office space and nice living space on the upper floors (I've been in one in the Bridgeland area).

IIRC, another CRA thing you may want to check out other than what Troutman already quoted, is that if audited, I think you have to be able to prove that the area used for a home business is used solely for business. I don't think it can be a business 8-5 then family room for the rest of the time.

I think this is one of those "types" of units, but I can't quite tell from the pic. Living area looks quite similar to the other one I was in though.
