FCAV, we had a 875 sqft condo and we did a "partial move" similar to OP. We used a half ton to move over boxes of stuff and just used a mover for furniture and heavy stuff (moving to a 3 floor townhouse and I didn't want the hassle of carrying heavy furniture up two flights of stairs).

We used OOMovers. All of their drivers own their trucks/moving companies so I think there's an incentive for them to be good, otherwise they might get booted from OOMovers.

They charged 1/4 hour billing + 1 hour for travel. I think it took them two of them 2-3/4 hours. It ended up being about $500. I was only moving about 20 blocks away though.
