That's what I mean, though. They will TRY to take him alive. Maybe they can, maybe they can't. But they will TRY. They are not thinking "Well, he shot three of us and hurt two others, let's just shoot to kill and save everyone some time." The EFFORT to take him alive will always be made. But the CHOICE to do so may be out of their hands.
