I would assume this would be the type of situation the ERT would handle. On Wikipedia they list some decent options but I'm not familiar enough with firearms to know if they would really help out here...

In isolated areas, yeah...I think they used it in the manhunt for the Boston Marathon suspects (where they managed to find him inside a small boat). It might be an accessibility issue though. Are these all that common to have?
