That's true - I never thought about that. That would be interesting. I'd like to get one of the top 4 but if we could still add a player at the 8th slot and get the Leafs to overpay with another prospect/young player, for a shot at the top 4, I'd do it. I think teams would have to pay significantly more to move into the top 4 than to move within the top 4.
Our history of trading with the Leafs isn't so good though and I'd hate to see us give up our second 'Doug Gilmour' and get fleeced again...
