At this point, this all comes down to education, finding the recruiters and locking them in solitary confinement for the next 50 years, and the Muslim community as a whole standing up and pushing the message that this radicalized interpretation of their faith is not acceptable.
I mean, you can go in and bust skulls, but the radical's in the community will point to it as proof that this is somehow a war between faiths and find their recruitment to be easier.
I strongly believe that if you leave this country to go fight as a Jihadist that it doesn't matter if you were born here in Canada, you aren't allowed back into the country, and we will turn you over to the authorities in the country that you caused trouble in. If they torture and kill you, that's your fault, Canada won't be there to help you and bring you home.
