An interesting question. If he plays well in the Finals (and especially if he managed to win the Conn Smythe), you'd have to consider it. He's had a great year.
How could he be considered the best player if he isnt even considered the best defenceman? How many Norris trophies has he won? How many has he even been nominated for?

Hes no Erik Karlsson or PK Subban.
