I am in the camp that combine results matter as far as drafting positions go, but has little relevance to how a prospect will develop.
Looking at the results, I think there's a real chance that Nylander will be drafted high. Nylander has high end skills but a slight body. But he came in and did really well at the combine.
If Bennett falls to #4 is that dropping? I think his inability to do one pullup is going to affect his chances of competing for the first two spots. I am guessing he didn't do so well in the bench press either but I don't know. If there is in fact little to differentiate the top 4, then I can certainly see teams going with the more NHL ready prospect because we've seen that NHL teams want their #1 overall to be in the NHL. If some of us are thinking that Bennett needs to be returned to juniors then ya I think there's a real chance he "drops" in this draft.
