Again, the tests are done for a reason. If the pullups weren't that important, why would they do them?

Eh who cares. Bennett obviously isn't ready to be in the NHL yet, but I have no doubts that his frame will fill out. These kids are 18 years old can't expect them to come in and do a lot of lifting. I believe he'll prove all his doubters that say he won't be successful because he couldn't do a pullup wrong.
I think the entire combine thing is overrated, maybe except for VO2 max (to see if the kid is actually in shape or just one fat kid) and physical measurements. These kids are 18, not body builders can't expect them to do much lifting at all. There was a guy named Kevin Durant that couldn't do one bench press lift in the NBA combine, see how he turned out.
The more important test is his skills against the competition IMO. If he passed the eye test of the Flames management I want him as a Flame.
