Well, my wife and I had this debate before our son was born. If it was a boy (we didn't find out) I said no and my wife said yes. My wife wanted our son to "match" daddy so there were no awkward questions when we bathe/shower together or are just naked or whatever. (lots of nudity in the Frank household)
I said "no" because my brother isn't chopped, and there was never any awkwardness while growing up. And, its a useless, painful procedure.
So fast forward. We have a son, my wife demands it gets the choppy-chop, I voice my displeasure but realise I will not win this war against the most stubborn female creature ever to walk this earth, and she takes him to get it done. I refuse to go.
Since its been done, nothing but problems. The cut skin kept reattching to the....ummmm....eeeeer.......head, and we had to go back several times to have it yanked back down, bleeding like mad, son screaming cause his junk is being torn off. Ya, I was reeeeeeeeal happy. And, he is almost 2 and its STILL not right.
