Honestly guys I get that the internet is the great equalizer for some of you but it just doesn't represent real world face to face interaction.

Well considering I'm a woman, I'm pretty unlikely to end up spending much time in a men's lockerroom. Maybe, just maybe, a woman has some insight into the BS that women have to deal with on a daily basis due to misogyny.

No one is saying that all men hate women. But regardless of that--all women deal with misogyny in one way or another. I've been really lucky to avoid any sexual assault and overt harassment. But I'm a manager at my place of business--as a 30 year old woman--and I deal with constant, virulent disrespect from a 67 year old man because he's a good old boy who refuses to imagine that I have anything to offer because I'm of the fairer sex.
As for the rest: I'm a colorist/hair stylist. I wear makeup and jewelry and dresses and heels. And I just had a date last night, as a matter of fact. Not every feminist fits into a simple stereotype.
