It's really not the point, and I'm not certain why you're being so up tight about a very simple question. The fact of the matter is we might very well take a defenseman with our first pick this year because we believe he's the best player available.
If we happen to do this, we could still use another top centre prospect and since we're unlikely to find one in the 2nd+ round this year, I'm asking a very simple and innocent question about the centre prospects next year (because I don't know much about them).
In no way was I posing a leading loaded question suggesting we do something this year that hinges on next year. It's a simple and valid question... if somehow some way we go D with the first pick this year, what potential centres could be available next year? I was only asking that, and will take a look at the name you suggested, because I haven't read up on them yet. Thanks for the info, and have a chill pill.
