I met my wife like this. I was working security at the Calgary airport and saw a beautiful girl at the door with this dude. I was thinking this girl is way to pretty to be with this guy, turns out I was right as her friend came out of the bathroom and gave him a kiss goodbye.
He was pretty upset so I talked to him for a bit and mentioned the girl he was with was cute and asked if she was with someone. He said no and remembered he forgot to give them $5 for parking. I told him I will help him out and run the $5 to the girls as he was through the checkpoint.
I went out and my first words were "I guess your friend forgot to give you money for parking so I had to come out here to meet you". We started chatting and have been best friends and a couple ever since we talked on the phone that night. Now married with 2 kids.
