Also Jiri (I think it was you), one correction - that incident where we steamrolled the Buffalo goalie was 2004, not 2009. That is still one of my favourite lacrosse moments ever. 19,000 new lacrosse fans going "he can do that?" then erupting into a massive cheer.
As far as tonight's game goes, I have no idea what Vinc was thinking. After his pick behind the net, he had to know he'd get run on that play. Went for a wander, cost his team its powerplay, and killed any momentum Rochester would have had to start the second half.
16,500 is a pretty amazing crowd. But sort of odd at the same time, because that was pretty much what they had sold ahead of time (Ticketmaster never had the seats past row 8 or so available), so that implies no walk-up. Sounded like 19,000 though. I had trouble hearing for about a half hour after I left the building!
