I'm just saying that why accuse the gun when it takes someone to pull the trigger. You don't see people wanting to ban cars when some ####### kills people with them, or ban alcohol, tobacco ect...

I have yet to hear of people dying from second hand alcohol use (FASD potentially, but that is a stretch) and smoking is banned in nearly all public places at least in Canada. After that it has become less socially acceptable to smoke in public, this is an example of people giving up their "freedoms" for an increase in stability of all of society. I get the argument that bad people have guns and rah rah rah but look at the majority of murders, they happen when ordinary people have access to them, it isn't as though it is as simple as keeping guns out of the hands of people with mental health issues, it is better to keep the guns out of the hands of everyone. I get that guns are fun to shoot, but the practical purpose of a handgun is simple... to shoot people.

I don't know the stats but I'd be willing to bet that most shootings are done with illegal weapons. Like Sandy Hook, Kid killed his mom, stole her guns and car and murdered innocent kids

So the answer to that is to do nothing? Seriously, your legitimate reason for not reducing guns is that they are easy to steal and readily available?

so with your theory in blaming the tools for killing, the sandy hook massacre used both a car and guns to kill those innocent kids. Ban em both!

A guy with a car is potentially dangerous, we heavily legislate who can drive a car, you have to pass a test, you have to have insurance, if you fail to meet specifics, then you will lose that ability to drive. In fact guns should be like cars, while not banned completely, heavily monitored and registered. I assume that this isn't what you have meant though.

one thing is, my guns are safe, they've only killed Deer, Coons, squirrels, yotes, and pigs. (well a lot of paper) I don't feel I should be punished because some rich emo douch*bag isn't getting laid and takes it out on innocent kids.

Okay, so in your previous example you said that guns were stolen and used for crimes? Are your guns any different?

most of these shootings are due to some idiot not being hugged enough by their parents as a kid or some crap like that. Why didn't we have these mass shootings 40-50 years ago? could it be all the psychological medicine crap that we shove down our throats? I mean, it was only the government shooting innocent people at schools in Texas or Ohio.
