All that aside, I've really been impressed with Tokarski's game as he controlled rebounds well and played a real quiet game. He never got flustered with guys in front of him and crashing the crease. Was it Boyle that was doing the 'Avery' to him? He asserted himself there but never lost composure. If he keeps this up, man, would they ever have a nice tandem next year. Just can't say enough good things about the native of Watson, Sk.
Now that the sheriff has dealt with things (rightly or wrong), I think this series takes off nicely with maybe a few cheap shots and rough stuff after the whistle, but not the garbage we witnessed in game 3. Vanek doesn't seem interested in playoff hockey though. Maybe his mind is in MN? At this rate they may not want him. He needs a good goalie paddle in the rear. It's him vs Bourque for the best disappearing act with Plekanec challenging for that dubious distinction.
Subban can be a difference maker..either way. Who knows what will happen when he's out there! I actually enjoy that factor. Not many signed up for a series this interesting and polarizing, but I for one am thankful we have that, as the hockey is pretty good and we may still have a goaltending duel. No complaints here.
