I remember playing D2/D2:LOD during high school. It wasn't uncommon to stay up late sleep a few hours wake up for school and such
but I tried ladder 2 seasons. Once on regular and once on hardcore..but you are definitely right about the 24/7 thing. I'd play when the season restarts hit about top 20/50 at around level 30-40. Go to sleep, go to school...get home open up the game bam you got over 100 level 99s.
