I seem to recall the cutting plan for the Kananaskis area was presented to the public, for their input, by Spray Lakes several years ago (in Bragg Creek?). It was vigorously opposed by the Bragg Creek Environmental Coalition and several other groups at the time, however I don't believe their efforts had a significant impact. I don't know whether the plan has been changed since due the pine beetle infestation.
