But the Stanley Cup final is pulling better ratings then anything else on CBC. I would watch more hockey, so would you. Therefore you put something on CBC that people will watch.

Re: American-style dramas -- I don't think I can prove that Canadians don't want another station (especially one run by the government) airing forensics shows and crime dramas based in New York City every night, but it's a reasonable assumption.

Base them in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. We don't need to base it on American cities. Make it a Canadian crime drama, or a Canadian forensics show.
