Well I can't prove anything "for a fact", but I do know that at least 90% of the people in the country
won't be watching the Stanley Cup Final, so I think it's safe to say that most people in the country aren't interested in even more hockey on that channel.
Re: American-style dramas -- I don't think I can prove that Canadians don't want another station (especially one run by the government) airing forensics shows and crime dramas based in New York City every night, but it's a reasonable assumption.
