Ya i liked spencer as a player but it's not his role to become a campaigner, if the jury starts addressing each other with speeches as to who should win that'll get old real fast. Just didn't seem quite fair. Unneccessary too when they already have a chance to ask pointed questions and make editorial comments.
Not that I begrudge tony the win as he played hard and worked harder, definately a deserving winner in some ways, but I think dissing players for riding coattails is not legit, flying under the radar is a decent strategy IMO. When you look at guys like Yul, they proce that lying and cheating is not necessarily a part of the game of survivor. Everyone celebrates the big agressive personalities that win but 90% of them end up out in the first 6-8 shows and the ones who do go through mostly just get lucky and find good people to support them.
Am watching old seasons on hulu right now and the number of strategic geniuses who got kicked off because they were in tribes where every single player was shifty is crazy.
