If you want to spend $200 on a poker table you must not have great confidence in your own skills as a poker player......

Kidding of course, but you could spend thousands on one or hundreds on one, and that Canadian Tire piece of crap is not worth even $100.

He built mine about a year ago (I got rid of the cupholders, had green speed cloth, black racetrack, solid build with legs which can be unscrewed, for about $450, then I paid him an extra $75 to build a matching top). I was ready to spend $2-3K on something from a retail store but what he built works better and while not of the same wood quality, is exactly what works for me.

Edit: Now he is charging 100 for the wood top. I think I was the first to request one, he sounded surprised when I asked for it and he did it finished the same as the racetrack for $75, and I really thought he charged too little. For $100 its a great deal

It looks like his prices have gone up, but for what you get, I think his prices are very competitive.
